Visiting Cuba / tips 🇨🇺

A lot of people think I am crazy when I say Cuba is my favorite country In the world .

I know Cuba lacks a lot of things compared to the rest of the world but to me is such a beautiful place filled with so much love to offer .

Regardless of their circumstances they are so welcoming to others.

The people are so lovely 😊

The love I was getting from people was overwhelming.

I never felt so welcomed and safe in any of the other 30 country’s I’ve visited .

I went to Cuba for 4 days

These are my tips from the trip

-You cannot fly to Cuba from any state

- RT flight from Miami are like $200

-Tips : PLEASE TAKE OUT CASH enough of it

if you are American

Because your American cards won’t function there .

-Book a airbnb ( Rent a room in a family’s house )

( Support the Cuban people )

-You have to get a visa at the airport if you are a tourist it costs $100

- Don’t go to Cuba with high expectations and expect to disconnect from the world while you are there.

Go with the flow

-Internet is very limited just like a lot of others things including food.

- things are expensive 💵

Things I did

Explored the Havana walking

Went to La bodeguita del medio and dance salsa 💃🏽

Ride around the city in the classic cars

Went to cayo Santa Maria beach and enjoyed the day .

Ate at local small restaurant to support the Cuban people .

Took salsa classes

Check out activities in airbnb ❤️🇨🇺

it was a unique and beautiful experience and I enjoyed being disconnected from the world .
