getting blindsided by #burpplebeyond deals led my friends and i to Squisito for dinner and oh boy was it bad. ok tbvvh taste wise it was very meh but what made it worse was THE PRICES. the menu is priced at a similar price range to cafes and (not-so high end) italian restaurants and the taste and ambience really did NOT justify the prices 😐 if you ever find yourself looking to have a meal at Bali lane, i suggest you drop by #MyGoTo Kulon and Ayam Percik instead

what we ordered:

🍝 Al Granchio, $22

ok this one the only dish that was not bad but i would say it got p jelat after a while since it’s a cream dish

🍕Burpple’s Pizza Set, $21 (u.p. $29)

topped with turkey ham, bacon, chicken sausages and beef salami on the tomato and mozzarella base, i will shorten my review on this to a few words: it tastes like a $10 frozen pizza.

🍝 Burpple’s Lasagne Set, $17 (u.p. $23)

there was waaaayyyy too much sauce for my liking it just tasted so wet. all i can say is that i’ve had nicer grocery store FROZEN lasagnes :/

overall, i would say the food here was really disappointing given their prices (and the ambience was p gloomy and underwhelming too) and for the taste, i’m probably only willing to pay <$10 for each dish. #NotForMe
