Your next DATE idea📍Atas dining vibes for <$20 😋

Travalled all the way to the West to try Io italian Osteria which was highly raved by my friends! 🍝

Location: Io Italian Osteria

Nearest MRT: Hillview (exit B then just turn right and walk straight down till u reach Hillv2)

What we ordered:

🍝 Orecchiette, pork sausage, saffron sauce $20

I would say this is a pretty good bowl of pasta, the sauce was creamy and the shape of the pasta (like little ufos) catches the sauce well so every mouth is flavourful. There is a littleee bit of mince meat in the pasta. I think I set my expectations too high for this cause it wasnt anything mindblowing? But it was good!! My friend mentioned it may get a bit jelak after a while but since we shared it it was alright (the portion is just alright for one person!)

🥪Roman Schiacciata (Stuffed, small) $12

THIS SLAPPED 😋There are 4 different types of stuffing to choose from (Which u can only see when u scan their menu) and we chose the parma ham, rocket salad, stracchino cheese stuffing!!! It’s essentially a toasted sandwich but MUCH BETTER <3 I really liked how flavourful it was and how the toast was so crunchyyyy noms😋 Usually Im not impressed by ham cause its plain but this was goood its not toooo salty and in every bite I got a generous amount of ham cheese and veggie!!!🥰 Im not a food connoiseur but the cheese tastes similar to burrata cheese and I like burrata cheese <3!!!! Really enjoyable and 4 slices for $12????? I think this is a must order!!! we were sceptical to order this cause there wasnt much reviews (or any) on this but WOW 👍👍👍👍👍👍

There was a short queue on a Monday night but we got in within 10 mins of waiting. Spacing of the tables were a tad bit close for the other tables but my friend and I got a seat at the end so it was reallyyy comfortable <3 Staff attended to us prompty and they had a big jug of free water so <3

In total we spent around $19.30 each which I think is super worth for some atas dining experience!!! Everyone was fr dressed so nicely (maybe they came from work?? but there were ppl celebrating their birthday here too <3 ) except for my friend in dri fit and fbt LOLOL the environment was dim and so comfortable <3 (didn’t take much pics cause there’s soooo many people in frame 😫😫) Would definitely be back for a date cause of the romantic vibes ~~ If you have any recommendations for what to eat at Io italian do let us knoww and we will try next timee :)
