Taking care of our mental health is ESSENTIAL and beyond important. The way we take care of ourselves is what is going to be able to get us through each and every day, especially during our hard times.

Here are quite a few ways that I take care of my mental health, my wellbeing, my peace, mind, body, you name it. 🌱✨💞🦋🥂

Time with loved ones and friends: Spending positive time with others is very motivational and therapeutic, especially when you’re having a good time and doing things to help you in the future. It can release happy hormones and give you something to look forward to.

Time with God and Bible study: Some practice religion, some don’t. Those who do of any kind know that meditation, mindfulness, and praying can help you manifest healthy thinking and more uplifting vibes. 🛐🌱

Time with nature: Helps you become grounded with earth, grounded with yourself, and ease your thoughts. 🌺🦋🍀

Physical activity: Promotes physical health and wellness, preparing your body for a healthy future, as well as improved mobility. 🏋️‍♀️💪🏼🏃🏻‍♀️

Healthy eating: Again something that promotes health and wellness, giving your body the essential nutrients and vitamins it needs. You can also naturally heal your body with certain foods. 🥑🍓🍌🍋🫐

Journaling: Allows you to process thoughts and emotions. Maybe can help you get through a tough time, stay organized, or just overall getting your feelings out and learning how to express yourself.📝💭

Reading: Creates time to wind down, learn, gain knowledge, do something you enjoy and or just take some time off from the real world for a little while and indulge in something that sparks your interest📖📚👓🤓

Time with pets: Also releases a happy hormone, gives you time with something you love and allows you to express joy. Gives a sense of being needed, appreciated, and loved as well. 🐶🦮🐾
