Taking time every now and then for a mental health reset is extremely beneficial.
Step 1: Journal
Take some time to just brain dump everything that’s on your mind. What’s been bothering you lately? Which areas of your life are lacking? Write about what’s been happening recently and how you’re feeling.
Step 2: Rest
Truly take some time away from everything. Maybe you need to take a nap, go on a weekend trip away, go for a long drive, or binge watch your favorite tv show - whatever allows you to fully unplug from reality and relax.
Step 3: Self-Care
Now that you have taken a moment to journal and rest, it’s time to show yourself some love. I’m talking all the self care things like taking a bath, reading a book, putting on a face mask, cooking a warm meal, calling a loved one, painting your nails, getting your hair cut - the list goes on and on. Taking time to care for yourself is the perfect way to wrap up your mental health reset.
