✮ beating the afternoon slump…

3 PM crept up on me SO fast today, and boy did I NOT want to do anything. I was reading, still in my PJs, and all I wanted to do was lay in bed all day. However, I had this intangible to-do list looming over my head… I needed to do laundry, complete some paperwork, answer my 85 UNANSWERED text messages, and more. So instead of stewing in my anxiety and procrastinating all those tasks, I decided to write them all down and document completing them all! Turning this looming to-do list into a fun activity by documenting it definitely helped motivate me, and I crossed off so many things today that had been in the back of my mind (some of them for weeks). Thanks Lemon8 for being a newfound motivator - hopefully this motivates you too to make baby steps in crossing things off your to-do list. I’ll see y’all next time! :)
