If you’re like me around 1-2pm I get really sleepy, I’m not as productive as I am in the morning and I have to push myself to get things done. What I found is that I benefit immensely from leaving my apartment. I work from home, so as soon as I step outside I change my focus and re-wire my brain.
Tips to help ease out of that Midday Crash
• walking - I love to walk outside. Breathing in the fresh air brings clarity to my mind. I believe it also helps with refocusing my attention on something else other than a screen.
• probiotic sparking cold drink - instead of getting coffee, which is what I was originally going to do lol I opted for something that would help my gut which would in turn help my immune system and boost my mood.
• vitamin C- that sun exposure really does boost my mood. I read that vitamin c can help with balancing your mood and helps keep you calm.
• eat a apple - have some fruit instead of some chips or candy. Apples have many benefits but they help with your immune system which connects to everything. A healthy immune system is only going to boost your energy and mood.
