☁️🥔 my creamy & fluffy mashed potatoes recipe! ✨

once fall comes around I always find myself making potatoes :) roasted, mashed, in soups, anything! I become potato girl 🥔🍂🥔🍂🥔🍂🥔

* for extra fluffy mashed potatoes, always use RUSSET’S. They have the most starch and become extra soft and fluffy!

* ⏲️ I like to slightly overcook the potatoes, this way they mash quickly & completely and there are no hard lumps

* make sure to completely drain the water, and let the potatoes cool slightly before mashing

* add your cream in parts, and plenty of it! I like my mash equally fluffy and creamy. 🥛

* DON’T OVER MASH. This is the number one mistake. Think of it like cake batter: the more you mix, the more dense & tough the end product is. Either use a ricer or hand masher until everything is smooth and incorporated, but no further. 👌🏼
