yes, I said it. gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free lasagna that’s actually good! dropping the recipe below.
- 1 pound ground beef (preferably grass fed)
- 1 pound Italian sausage (we use Mulay’s brand)
- 1, 28 oz jar of marinara sauce (we use Rao’s)
- 2 packages of cappellos almond flour lasagna noodles (found in the frozen section of a health food store)
- 1 package of kite hill almond milk ricotta cheese
preheat oven to 350 and let noodles sit out of freezer to thaw. brown sausage and beef together on stovetop and add sauce. add extra salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to taste. let sauce simmer on low. spray casserole dish with oil and layer sauce, noodles and a thin layer of almond milk ricotta cheese until all ingredients are used. bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly on 350. enjoy!
