my HONEST take on the ‘BEST’ salted egg chicken

went to three meals a day at around 2pm on a monday and it was really crowded, but the queue to order moved quite quickly! do note that you have to queue to order and then queue AGAIN for a seat (the staff will assign you to a table)

✨taste:

the salted egg chicken was more on the creamy and sweet side, so if you’re looking for something with a stronger salted egg taste then this wouldn’t rly be for you! it was still rly yummy though 😋

✨texture:

the sauce was not the grainy kind (which was expected since the taste was creamy rather than salty) so this really depends on personal preference. i usually prefer my sauce to be slightly grainier as that shows that they used more salted egg, and creamier sauces tend to make me feel more jelak

overall it was still a yummy dish since it was served hot! but i probably wouldn’t queue for it again :’)
