Jet Trys: The BEST Pork Chop (legit hidden gem) 😋

HEAR ME OUT i know ppl overuse the word hidden gem and use it wrongly bc wdym popular shops with 1hr wait times are hidden gems??? But this place is LEGIT a hidden gem 💎 not only bc its in a damn ulu place but also bc it only has 9 google reviews... 1 of them being mine LOL 🫨

That said, its really one of the best, if not then THE BEST pork chop i've ever had in SG 🤤🤤 AND ITS SO SO AFFORDABLE!! Eat good and save your money too!! Read below for my in-depth, 100% honest, non-sponsered review 😚

❓️ WHERE is it

Formosa Hotplate is a Taiwanese hotplate store/concept store at the food court of the basement of i12katong. I was boothing at i12katong when i saw this and decided to give it a try! BEST decision 🤩 The price is really reasonable and affordable! It was legit super good lah pepper lunch could NEVER 🤪

❓️ WHAT we ordered

- Chicken chop pasta hotplate ($6.80 which is a price comparable or even cheaper than some schools 🤯😵)

- 100g pepper beef rice hotplate ($7.80)

- Pork chop rice hotplate 👑 (9.90)

+ $2 set meal for soup of the day PLUS fries (damn worthhhh 😆)

❓️ HOW was it

The food was SO SO GOOD i 感动 (felt emotional) HAHAJAHA im a true foodie, and true foodies cant express the joy of eating good food, it can actually touch our hearts 💛 For just $2 you can get the soup of the day which was slightly btr than the average food court soup and fries which was muchhh btr than the average food court fries. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the best kind of fries imo 🔥

Honestly every dish was really good BUT that pork chop legit made me give a full 5 star review and i only ever give reviews if the food is TOP NOTCH or absoluetly disgusting HAHAHA 😆😅 I also had a short chat with the owner of the store and he was super nice and friendly!! He's definitely Taiwanese based on his accent as we spoke in Mandarin. Really nice and hardworking guy!! Really wishing him the best of success i hope they stay open forever 🥹🥹🥹

VERDICT❓️ Will i be back❓️

YESSSS but i12katong is so far 😭 but i really crave it so bad i might just travel there... (i stay at pioneer)
