1. When you first wake up, expose yourself to sunlight. Grab your tea or coffee and head outside even if it's only for 5 minutes. If that's not an option sit next to a window while you journal, check emails, do your gratitude practice etc. This really helps your body begin to adapt to the natural circadian rhythm. Which in turn will improve your sleep.

2. No caffeine after 2pm! Once your body gets used to good sleep, and a rhythm you won't even feel like you need that afternoon pick me up. Fight the urge and trust the process. When you start to feel that need for caffeine mid day, try a cold plunge or shower, a walk, chug some soda water, do 10 jumping jacks!

3. Have a night time ritual. Mine is to light candles, sip on hot tea, take a bath, or do a meditation. Get in the habit of doing a night time ritual so your body knows that its time to wind down and get sleepy!
