ive nvr seen bigger portions put in these plates !

okay i lowkey tired n this has been in my drafts for a few days alr so im skipping to the points ! :'D

so I went to Sembawang Shopping Centre (SSC) with my parents and we couldn't decide on what to eat then we saw Teng Sheng Food Gallery that my mom and I ate at before but my dad haven't so we brought him there.

Teng Sheng Food Gallery is a not very big place but has spacious tables and chairs with Western, Japanese, Korean, Mala Hotpot, Fish Soup and a Drinks stall. It's really small as a foodcourt but basically serves as the foodcourt of SSC ever since the old one closed (if I'm not wrong it is now Mr DIY? judging from the window view bc I used to eat chicken rice by the window in the old foodcourt :") and the view from Mr DIY looks like it)

The prices for the Fish Soup dishes look quite normal like $4-6 but the Western, Japanese, and Korean dishes are...also normal for their type, like $6-10 ish BUT their portions are big ! at least for the Japanese and Korean dishes cuz that's what we bought.

My dad bought a Ramyeon or is it Kimchi Ramyeon bc I didn't expect him to get kimchi but I think he said it is Kimchi Ramyeon. When it was served, the noodles were piled in the middle and the soup was pretty plenty. I expected the noodle to disappear under the soup after mixing it but no !! after my dad meddled the noodles, the noodles could still be seen...like if you can visualise what I'm saying yeah basically its a lot unlike other places that try to fake fake their portion🤧

My mom bought a Bibimbap but no meat if I remember correctly? but the mother loves veggies so no complaints from her, especially when the bowl was as big as the Ramyeon bowl and the food doesn't even look any less, and she even said that it's best to come here on a super empty stomach, it was very filling, so portion validated by mom too!

I bought my usual bento that I often order since I was a tiny child, and I have watched those portions decrease with the inflation of the economy and sometimes I choose to get something else in a foodcourt just bc I'm hungrier that day and I Japanese Cuisine's bento dishes no longer can fill the abyss of hunger of the grown me. But this time I anyhow choose and wow !! portions big ! :D it was like $7.20 but it was more expensive because I chose the salmon one but the portions v worth!

Anyway if you google up this place it might show a Korean BBQ place which is NOT THIS PLACE. It's very much like a foodcourt but just very small but it's the only foodcourt in SSC now HAHA.

P.S. parents said the soup that comes with the set is not nice oops. but the filling portions still very good !! 5/5 from me bc i didn't drink the soup👍🏻

P.S. P.S. the western & japanese korean cuisines look like 2 stalls but payment is together I think, and I heard the noodle and drinks staff is the same? so probably just ask them how the payment is and they're usually glad to help esp since there's usually not much crowd :)
