🐱 Shaving 101: Essential Tips 🪒

1. Trimming... before I do anything else I always trim the hair first so that when it's time to shave, there isn't a lot of hair to get rid of. ✂️

2. Exfoliation... I use an exfoliating glove along with the vaginal wash, and sometimes I use a sugar scrub. 🧤

3. Shave WITH THE GRAIN.... shaving with the grain means to shave in the direction of hair growth rather than against it. Do this as an initial shave to get most of the hair. ⬇️

4. Shave AGAINST the grain... then I shave AGAINST the grain to get the more stubborn hairs that don't want to leave the nests. ⬆️

5. Coconut oil… after showing I apply body oil, but since it's scented I don't put it on my kitty. As an alternative, I use coconut oil. You'd just apply it the same way you would apply lotion to your skin. You can also use any unscented lotion! 🧴
