1. start small
don’t push urself too much by doing workouts that are too hard! start with short workouts (5-10min) long and take breaks in between if u r tired! When i started working out, i did the 7min workout (rlly good!), but u can also do beginner workouts from creators like madfit & pamela reif!
2. make it a habit
to be consistent, try building working out in ur routine, ie. setting a regular time every day to exercise!
3. focus on ur form
make sure ur form is correct when doing exercises to prevent injuries! Use a mirror or ask a friend to help check ur form! if an exercise is too hard, u can always modify it to make it easier ! eg. doing push ups on ur knees !
4. warm up & cool down!!
always remember to do these! Warming up with dynamic stretches help warm up ur muscles & prevent injuries! and cooling down helps prevent muscle soreness afterwards 😣
5. don’t give up!
if u skip a day, don’t be discouraged ! some days it can be hard to work out…but one tip i have is finding a working buddy to keep u motivated and accountable ! 🤩
