Is the kitchen triangle rule overrated? 🤔

To be honest, we didn't have much choice as we got a 4 room BTO unit, which is more or less designed to have a galley kitchen layout. I tried playing around with other layouts such as L-shape and U-shape kitchens, but I find that there is a lot of wasted space at the corners.

We also didn't follow the golden triangle rule as it just made more sense to place everything along the wall due to space constraints. Honestly, I don't feel any inconvenience with this layout, maybe because the kitchen is so small that I can move around the sink, hob and fridge easily in just 2-3 steps 😂

I also quite like that we sort of have a "wet kitchen" and "dry kitchen" on either side. So all the wet and messy stuff takes place at the wet kitchen, while we have a clean space at the dry kitchen to place other things.

Overall, I do like our kitchen layout alot and find it practical to work in! 😊
