I miss the days when you can just cook your meals at home — during COVID-19 lockdown 🫢
being back at work, especially around the CBD area, lunch can easily range from $5-$12. your broke ass sis here is crying inside (also because I love to eat ALOT)
so with my intention to eat healthier, watch my portions and eat smarter — this is my healthy instant noodle recipe.
you don't need to to cook anything before hand, just some simple mise en plus required 👩🍳🇫🇷 (yes french, so fancy right? 😂)
🍥 Ingredients 🍥
1️⃣ Vegetables (pick any 2)
- snow peas
- cabbage
- spinach
- carrots 🥕
2️⃣ Protein (pick 1)
- tofu
- taukee
- egg tofu 🥚
- hard boiled egg
3️⃣ add in mushrooms 🍄
(optional to make you happy)
4️⃣ bee hoon (buy the chili packaging 👍🏻)
5️⃣ miso paste ( you can buy the tub or those pre-packed paste from daiso/don don donki
👩🍳 Method 🍜
- Grab how much noodle you want (20-30g works for me)
- Prep your veggies, wash & chop them
- Prep your proteins (chop them up)
- Portion them out
❄️ Use an airtight container and they can last up to 3-4 days in the fridge
🍴Before eating 🍴
🌡️💧Put your miso paste and hot water together with your ingredients
🔥Microwave it for 7-10minutes until everything is cooked
🤤 ENJOY! 🤤
