I miss the days when you can just cook your meals at home β during COVID-19 lockdown π«’
being back at work, especially around the CBD area, lunch can easily range from $5-$12. your broke ass sis here is crying inside (also because I love to eat ALOT)
so with my intention to eat healthier, watch my portions and eat smarter β this is my healthy instant noodle recipe.
you don't need to to cook anything before hand, just some simple mise en plus required π©βπ³π«π· (yes french, so fancy right? π)
π₯ Ingredients π₯
1οΈβ£ Vegetables (pick any 2)
- snow peas
- cabbage
- spinach
- carrots π₯
2οΈβ£ Protein (pick 1)
- tofu
- taukee
- egg tofu π₯
- hard boiled egg
3οΈβ£ add in mushrooms π
(optional to make you happy)
4οΈβ£ bee hoon (buy the chili packaging ππ»)
5οΈβ£ miso paste ( you can buy the tub or those pre-packed paste from daiso/don don donki
π©βπ³ Method π
- Grab how much noodle you want (20-30g works for me)
- Prep your veggies, wash & chop them
- Prep your proteins (chop them up)
- Portion them out
βοΈ Use an airtight container and they can last up to 3-4 days in the fridge
π΄Before eating π΄
π‘οΈπ§Put your miso paste and hot water together with your ingredients
π₯Microwave it for 7-10minutes until everything is cooked
