In My Running Era || Beginner Runner

Challenging myself to do something I always said I “hated” has already been such an amazing journey & I’m only on run #12 !

A few things I feel have really helped me so far

• I didn’t pressure myself to run to far

• I started with 1 to 2 miles even if that might seem like a little to some I knew I didn’t want to push myself to much at first and not enjoy it ( I have been slowly adding in more miles )

• getting the right running shoes made me excited to run 😂🤪

• finding good music

• walking when I need

• going as often as I can to be consistent

I am still having a hard time half way through my run and questioning why I decided to start 😂 but I am looking forward to my runs and always feel so good after my run!
