1st Solo Work Trip Experience & what I learnt 💖✈️💺🧳

It’s my 1st time traveling solo overseas and going on a work trip.

Traveling solo would be a great experience for any Singaporean because it would help build your confidence, navigation skills & keep an open mind.

4 things to take note of when you are out there exploring on your own!

1. Keep an open mind:

• Always be friendly and have a sense of who you are meeting.

• Try different food and cuisine in the country you are visiting.

2. Communicate with your colleagues:

• Always communicate with your colleagues in the other country to find out more about things you would have to take note of when you are traveling.

• It would really help you when you find out about their culture and how people work in the country.

3. Meet up with friends living in that city:

• Take the opportunity to meet up with friends you have in the country and it would be a great reunion. I assure you!

4. Be Adventurous But Prepared:

• I got sick while traveling and it was really uncomfortable but preparing medications on hand that you would usually need, for example, Panadol or medication for allergies would help.

• Always bring spare cash with you in case you would need because some places still don’t accept cards.
