1) It can be more expensive to travel alone.

You miss out on the cost-sharing opportunities for accommodation, transportation, and meals! 💸

2) Limited food exploration compared to traveling in groups!

When I visit night markets, I can only try a few items before feeling full. But if I were with a group, I could sample a variety of dishes. Imagine the food adventures I'm missing out on, haha! 😋🍜

3) Loneliness hits, even for introverts!

During my 10-day solo trip, there were times when I went days without having a conversation (except for ordering food, of course). Even as an introvert, it can get quite lonely and make me feel a bit down. 🥺😔

4) Hostel experiences can be challenging.

To save money, I stayed in a hostel and shared a room with strangers. Let me tell you, it was one of the worst experiences of my life! The person on the bottom bunk bed was an incredibly loud snorer; I could feel my own bed vibrating. And to top it off, I even caught COVID from my coughing roommate. Talk about unfortunate luck! 😱🏨😷

Overall, while solo travel has its benefits, these are some of the downsides that can dampen the experience. It's always good to weigh the pros and cons before embarking on a solo adventure! 💔✨
