If you are like me, a huge snacker (nom nom), this post is for you!!! I tried so many things this trip thanks to all my friends and also lemon8 tips and I thought itโs time for me to give back!
(1) Truffle Bakery
White truffle salt bread is a must - amazing truffle fragrance and taste packs a punch. I went to the Hiro-o outlet, cos I was on my way to try an Omakase (more on that in another post) but you can also check out the other outlets they have!
(2) Number Sugar Caramels
The bf does not like caramels, the bf LOVED this. I think that says a lot. Our favourites are n.o 2 Salt, n.o 6 Orange Peel, n.o 9 Rum & Raisin, n.o 10 Coffee ๐ฅน๐ฅฐ we got this and snacked while queuing to go into On at omotesando
(3) Higuma Donuts
We tried both the cinnamon sugar and kinako donuts - both were sooooooo good but I preferred the kinako while the bf loved the cinnamon sugar one. Also the coffee here is damn good, and from 1 coffee lover to another - just get itttt
(4) Yukari Fried Chicken
Fresh, hot karaage and fried chicken, in many different flavours ๐. I just wish I had the stomach space to try everythinggggg. Highly recommend trying especially if youโre in the Asakusa area!
(5) Suzuki-en
7 levels of matcha gelato and I read that some people feel that itโs bitter (?) but tbf I feel level 7 is just nice for me. But the gem here imo was the matcha warabimochi drink! I love how the warabimochi pieces complement the matcha so perfectly๐ฅฐ
There you have it, 5 Tokyo snacks I really enjoyed! Hope you enjoy them too :)
