light makeup for the lads pt.2 🫡🤝

Back with another one for the lads. If you haven’t seen part 1 👈🏻 go check it out! And because there’s nothing wrong with wanting to look your best, here’s part 2 👍🏻

I didn’t include any concealers or foundations in part 1 because the guy friends I know find them a little scary, but in part 2 I’ll share more approachable ways to cover redness and blemishes, and add dimension for a cleaner look!

👉🏻 Essence tinted primer

The mousse texture is strange and chunky at first, but it does cover a little of the redness and fill up pores. It also doesn’t look or feel like anything on the skin.

👉🏻 The Saem concealer

It’s a little thick and slightly tacky, but it covers up quite a bit. I normally start with a thin layer before patting more in. You have to set this one with powder because otherwise it oxidises and turns darker.

I mentioned this one in part 1 before, but beyond using it for eyebrows, you can also use it as eyeshadow and contour.

All three items can be applied with just your fingers! This is great if you don’t have brushes, or want to spend as little time getting ready as possible.

✨ For the primer, simply rub it into the skin until it’s smooth.

✨ For the concealer, tap thin layers on blemishes with your finger until you reach the coverage you want.

✨ For the brow powder (as eyeshadow and contour), use the lighter colour and tap the colour on before blending it out. Go light handed!
