my military journy starts now

I have been lost since I've been out of high school, I've been job hopping and going on family funded vacations as well but now that I'm 20 years old it's time I started making adult decisions and find a career path. Im gonna start of as a mechanic for the force then gonna go back to school paid by the military and get a degree in physical therapy. I also have a time line as well I'm gonna be in there for 20 years I'll be 40 by then and I'll be retired as well

👍Pros: everything I do is gonna be paid for, my schooling, any medical issues, insurance and even more things all paid for by uncle Sam. I'll also be traveling a lot. and since I'll be a woman joining I'll have a high chance of getting the job I want.

🤔Cons: I'll be away from home A LOT which will be hard, I'm not gonna be in one place for too long I'll be hopping everywhere. I'll be in one place but then as soon as I'm used to it I'll be ordered to go to another place. I won't be able to actually be settled somewhere until I'm retired I'll be able to go home some times but Ill have to leave again.

my family is 95/5 on being supportive the only people who are supportive of me going is my mom, my dad, and my sister. everyone else is t too excited. but screw what they say! its my life and I do whatever I want!

also air force gets recruited more often and gets paid more than the other branches.

bootcamp starts June 26th or 2025

my weight requirement is 155 I'm currently 160

I also have to pass the medical examination but that is gonna be slightly hard since I messed up something in my shoulder but they'll fix me up for free if I have problems.
