WANTED TO GATEKEEP THIS BUT CAN’T RESIST SHARING…😳

What’s better than an iced coffee to beat the sweltering summer heat? 🌞 It’s cool and refreshing, plus it provides the perfect pick-me-up for the feverish weather!🥤

We recently went back to 𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐔𝐏 𝐂𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐄 to escape from the insane weather and was pleasantly rewarded with the perfect afternoon cuppa ☕️

Nestled in a shophouse in the Bugis area, 𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐔𝐏 𝐂𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐄 is a cute little nook amidst other shops and cafes. The cafe is separated into two main areas —— the outdoor seating area is decked with retro seats and greenery (pet friendly!), while the indoor seating area is minimally furnished with movable cushions against concrete 💬

The star of the show here is their expertly crafted coffee, as both drinks we ordered were rich in aroma and thoroughly enjoyable ☕️

Their espresso was pulled from a crowd favourite (Arufa), beans from Papua New Guinea. This was one of the better iced blacks we’ve had recently, as it was not overly acidic but you can still taste notes of dark chocolate and cherries 🍒😋

The flat white was equally impressive, as the milk complemented the coffee profile extremely well. The milk was rich and creamy, elevating the nuttiness of the coffee bean 🌰🤤 While this was a hot beverage, we didn’t feel that it made the heat worse since it was a warm and comforting drink!

This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Bugis area! 👀 The café exudes a relaxed, easy-going vibe and we had an enjoyable time here 💖 Overall, we were extremely impressed by their coffees and can’t wait to be back to try their snacks and kombuchas 🍵
