Safari packing guide - what not to forget 🐘

✨ insect repellent

Having an insect repellent to protect yourself again mosquitoes or flies is a must when doing safari. Make sure that it contains DEET.

✨ binoculars

Usually a guide will have some binoculars, but I would recommend to bring your own so that you can spot and observe animals at anytime.

✨ comfortable clothes

You want to be comfy when being on the move in a jeep all day long. Bring also clothes that you can easily layer, as it can be quite cool in the early mornings and evenings.

✨ sunscreen

I‘m a skincare girly, so this goes without saying but putting on sunscreen is essential (especially when the roof is open).

✨ malaria tablets

This will depend on the region you visit, but make sure to check with a healthcare specialist. Regions that require malrai tablets include Kenya, Tanzania, parts of South Africa, Namibia, Rwanda, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
