Banza pasta is my favorite pasta for when I’m in a calorie deficit. Idk about you but I love pasta. And I don’t want to cut out the things I love when I’m on my weight loss journey. So what works for me is supplementing those things with healthier alternatives. This is what does the trick for me 🥰 I’ve tried some others like
❌ hearts of palm: too crunchy doesn’t mimic real pasta at all
❌some calorie zero one from the target fridge section in a bag with water it tasted like wet paper towel idk
And this is what came closest to the real thing. Personally, I think it’s very very close to real pasta. It’s not very close to high quality homemade pasta at a dance restaurant by any means but close to homemade boxed pasta 😂 which is what I’d be eating for dinner anyway.
Anyways this night I made 1 serving with 1 serving of the raos sauce. Honestly this was too much sauce for this amount of pasta and next time I’d go for 3/4 for or even 1/2. AND IM SOMEONE THAT LIKES A LOT OF SAUCE! It’s ok though nothing went to waste I ended up wiping it down with some bread 🙊🙊
I’d highly suggest everyone give chickpea pasta a try if they’re looking for a pasta alternative while in a calorie deficit. Doesn’t have to be this brand. I was only aware of this brand up until the other day. I saw a created (I don’t remember his name :( ) he said good and gather has a chickpea pasta that doesn’t have that last ingredient in it (the gum) so if that’s important for you, you can try that!
