NO.1 hokkien mee in sg (imo)

Heyyo wassup homies it’s chiobu here! I always rave about this hokkien mee to my family, friends and colleagues and wanted to share this with you guys too :p

The hokkien mee comes in small ($5), medium ($8) and large ($10) and is AMAZING. Love that there’s lotsa gravy, the gravy is creamy, the lard is coated in egg and that the prawns are fresh 😁 rly a hokkien mee that I want to eat daily except Monday and Tuesday cuz they’re closed HAHA 🙊 ok la maybe everyday is a bit toooo much and can get jelak, but will defo eat it when I’m in tpy :)

Can I also say that the service is top notch 😭 two months ago, while queuing up with my colleagues, I looked at a customer’s plate and commented about how I liked that they gave so much lard. Next thing I knew, the laoban gave me an additional plate of lard with my order! I didn’t even tell him to give me one (I was talking to my colleague) but he just did so after overhearing lehhh 🥹 I went back today as well annnddd he gave another plate again (without me asking 😭). This kind of service, how not to be loyal??!! Laoban are you single? You have won my heart for sure 💯 (don’t tell Neko HAHA)

One thing to note is that the chilli is nice, but not the most fantabulous because the taste is not that strong. But still nubbad ok!

Another thing to note is that because the hokkien mee is so popular, there’s usually a 10-20 min wait for it (on weekdays during lunch hours) Good thing is that they use a buzzer system so you can sit down and chit chat while waiting for your food to be ready!
