the worst hotel check in service ever 🙄!where?

Speak on travel drama that happen over last weekend.

Hello Zesties, 🍋, here is a post on the worst hotel check in service ever. Over the weekend, my in laws and I had a staycation trip in JB. The hotel was planned and booked months before the trip.

After breakfast and grocery shopping, we decided to proceed to hotel for early check in since it was requested in the hotel booking, we reached the hotel almost 12pm but was only informed by the counter staff that check in is at 6pm during the weekends 😞.

We have 8 kids in total, checking in at 6pm is not part of the plan. We were hoping to have our rooms ready so that we could all have a proper rest before proceeding with our plans in the late afternoon.

Of course, we have to feedback to the staff because it’s an unfair and unreasonable policy. Obviously, this is a shortchange. Check out time is 12pm, late check out is at 12:30pm, they don’t need 6 hours to clean up the room when the check out is at 12pm? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Knowing that the hotel is near Legoland and other amenities that are kids friendly. Hotel should take priority care and measures to cater to families.

They could see for themselves that the hotel lobby is getting crowded as more families wants to check in early but was told to wait as check in is only at 6pm? 🤯

Thankfully, almost an hour wait, the staff informed us that 4 out of 5 rooms that we booked are ready except for one which is still under cleaning and packing.

The only issue with the hotel is the unreasonable check in time during the weekends…. Other than that the room is spacious, cleanliness is average and amenities nearby so it’s quite convenient.
