Hye my darlings,
Madeleines are a French tea cake, they are crispy on the outside and soft like cake on the inside. This is a quick and easy recipe you will surely love.
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs 🥚
- 125g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt
- 128g AP flour
- 5g baking powder
- 35ml fullcream milk
- 125g brown melted butter 🧈
Steps:
1- Beat eggs together with sugar until you get a smooth and even texture. Beat in vanilla and salt.
2- Then add the flour baking powder, milk and finally mix in the butter. Chill in the fridge for 45 mins.
3- Spoon or add the mixture in piping bag and pipe it into madeleines holes and bake for 10-12 minutes at 180c or until puffed up and golden.
