Canto- West Village

I’ve been hearing about this place all over TikTok for its frozen espresso martinis and I had the restaurant saved in my Google Maps! Had to give it a try.

I ordered the frozen espresso martini of course, but was hesitant because of the price ($18). The glasses also looked tiny for the price. There was a thick and sort of hard layer of cream at the top which I didn’t think was necessary (it halved the drink size). The drink itself was great but was only 5 sips max. I was disappointed to be honest!

My friends and I also shared 2 baskets of fries which were good ($11 a basket)— but you can also get fries anywhere in NYC! Overall we wouldn’t come back because Canto was known for its drinks and they were too pricey for what they were! Maybe if there was a happy hour I’d go back.
