MUSIC FESTIVAL IN SG | TIPS!!

Music festivals in SG are much more uncommon as compared to other countries!! But here’s my experience on One Love Asia music festival that happened at Marina Bay over the last weekends! 😜

I bought the general admission ticket for both days and it’s a free & easy standing meaning first come first serve for the spot!!! I wasn’t very infront but i could still see the singers despite standing at 156cm tall. 🫡

Instead of commenting on the singers’ line-up and sounds (since there are different event organisers), i’ll be sharing some tips that you guys might want to take note for your next music festival in SG:

1. Umbrellas are not allowed - you’ll block everyone’s view and the security will force you to close your umbrellas!

2. Sitting down is generally not recommended as this isn’t a picnic session, so be mentally prepared that you might need to stand for 5hours long.

3. No outside food & beverage allowed so if you’re afraid you’ll get hungry, either purchase from the vendors in the festival or grab a heavier lunch.

4. Portable toilets are always readily available, do remember to drink up to prevent fainting!

5. Clean up your phone storage before the festival!!!

6. Take a public transport to & fro the festival to avoid congested traffic.

7. Bring a portable fan with you and a mini perfume/deodorant, it’ll save your life 🫡!!

10/10 recommending y’all to experience SG music festival once in your life, especially if you need to take a short break from your hectic schedule!!! 🫶🏻
