How many books can a $50 carton fit?

Wheee!!! Sharing a great deal for book lovers who haven’t heard of this yet.

Times bookstore’s warehouse deal - today is the last day for the warehouse carton deal but I believe they do have such offers once every quarter or half a year.

Have heard of it from lemon8 and was wondering if it was worth it to head down, but my boy was feeling restless and asking for some new books. So I managed to convince my hubby to drive down for us to take a look.

Half of the room was dedicated to the books buffet. They allowed us to walk around and browse and only buy the carton if we liked the books.

We were very pleasantly surprised that all the books were in tip top condition and there were children books, business books, fiction books, and cooking books. Cooking seemed to be the biggest selection tho.

The shop space wasn’t too big, but we definitely found enough to fill a carton, and went away with 37 books (Extremely Worth It - <$2 per book!). They probably had more than 200 titles available for choosing.

We liked it enough, that we will look out for the next warehouse sale, and be back the next round probably on the first day, to see if we can grab more good offers. We saw many people buying full carton loads of the books (possibly for gifts to others), and think some titles probably sold out in the first two days.
