if you’re struggling with healing, letting go or even overthinking, this book is for you! i love this read because the author carefully packed

• theories on why you’re feeling a certain way

• advices and reminders on your self worth

• step by step exercises you can adopt to rewire your perspective of things you’re struggling with

here are some pointers that i appreciated:

(1) anxiety ab (xxx)

✮⋆˙ your anxiety ab the issue that you’re self sabotaging is usually a reflection of your own limiting beliefs

— for e.g. as much as you want to be a content creator, maybe you don’t post content regularly despite knowing it’s what you HAVE to do (SELF SABOTAGING) bc you’re afraid you don’t get the results you want (e.g. likes / account growth etc) and you’ll be made fun of (the LIMITING BELIEF)

✮⋆˙ remember that what you believe ab your life is what you will make true about your life

(2) fear of people’s judgement

✮⋆˙ start living w the “if it happens, it happens” mentality bc why should you channel energy into smth that’s OUT OF YOUR CONTROL and allow it to derail your life?!?!

✮⋆˙ focus on what’s within your realm of control - your actions, boundaries, habits

✮⋆˙ the truth is NOBODY is evaluating you the way you’re evaluating yourself

✮⋆˙ to get over the fear, show up and create things you’re proud to share, this means putting in the required effort and time so that when it pays off, you know your work is done w your fullest potential, w complete authenticity, boosting your confidence 🤍

(3) fear of feeling

✮⋆˙ your feelings, while often valid, are not accurate reflections of reality BUT are accurate reflections of your thoughts

✮⋆˙ when you feel fear, ask yourself if the thought is a fact or feeling - act accordingly

✮⋆˙ give yourself space to experience the depth of your emotions and confront the exact emotions that you’ve been trying to avoid!!!!!!

✮⋆˙ exposure is basically the “treatment” for fear! by going through it again and this time, reestablishing a feeling of safety, it’ll shift how you view the fear 🫡

— for e.g. i’m super scared of being alone, basically loneliness. because it gives me space to sit w my own feelings which often makes me feel v uncomfortable… i also feel v empty when idh anyone to talk to… but to overcome this, i’ve set aside 1 day/week for myself! no meeting friends etc, just alone time where i would go on self care dates / do wtv i want ♥️

there are so many more interesting pointers from this book that i would love to share ab but i would be spoiling the book then 👎🏻 this was a 4/5 read for me!!!! so i totally recommend it!
