the overhyped cafe - five oars coffee roasters? 🤔

I’ve been hearing so much about this cafe and decide to pop by after my class at trapeze rec club (it’s just beside each other - read about my experience in my post here )

It was a sunday afternoon and we had to wait for a table ~20 mins before we could be seated.

The ambience was pretty nice but nothing too special to shoutout about.

There were 3 of us and we ordered-

🍳 baked egg

🏅 overall it was quite yummy, the name says it all and it’s really just tastes like baked eggs (imo the wild honey one is better) i’d rate it a 7/10.

🍔butter milk chicken burger v3.0

💰$24 (added $3 to change to truffle fries)

🏅this was goood, but it tasted more like korean chicken (because there was a sauce coated over) instead of buttermilk! But still a nice decent burger that i would actually go back for - 8/10

🥔kombu tater tots

🏅honestly didn’t really see the point of seaweed, they could make it truffle and it might taste better! (imo tater tots SHOULD usually taste the same but this one was abit more mushy inside and not so crispy inside)

I have also heard that different five oars outlets have different menus, i wouldn’t mind going back just to try out the other items on the menu. If you have visited the different outlets (or the same one), pls recommend your favourite dish!!
