[鱼头炉] Where to go for Fish Head Steamboat?

I've recently been OBSESSED with this place. Its honestly the best fish head soup I've tried so far and I HAVE to share it!

炭香 Charcoal Fish Head Steamboat Kallang

Firstly, the total damage for all the dishes combined is about 200 for 4 pax. I didn't go into details about the vege as it's average.

For the fish steamboat, we got the red grouper medium pot at 80SGD. Inside the steamboat, there's vegetables, yam, seaweed, tomato, and fried fish pieces. The soup was really really flavourful and I really liked it better than other places I've been so far. It's also cooked with charcoal & the fire is consistently burning. If you come here, expect to go home smelling like charcoal (including your bags). The fish was REALLY fresh and I haven't been disappointed when I went back there. The servers also walk around and refill the soup as and when needed.

Overall? I really like this place. OH DID I MENTION?? There are:

1) FREE SNACKS AND POPSICLES

In fact, the snacks are very similar (if not the same) as HaiDiLao's and they also have a range of popsicle flavours you can choose from.

2) FREE GAMES

From old arcade games (2 player) or claw machines. To get the coins needed for the claw machine, simply go to the cashier and ask! It adds a really nice marketing touch but also allows people to distract themselves as the staff preps the food.

Overall... ⭐⭐⭐⭐ /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5/5) as I wish there could be more refreshment options but overall, great vibes & for the price, it's worth it!
