🤔 A little backstory

This store started in 1927, and it's now been passed down to the 4th generation! Which means that this store has at least 96 years of operation, and that its a very classic dish for families to dine at.

🥘 Dishes we tried for 9 pax!

1. Fish Head steamboat (Pomfret) - Their Fish Head Steamboat is priced at $38, $48, and $70 and they offer a batang (Spanish Mackeral), grouper and pomfret. MUST TRY!

2. Sweet and Sour Pork - must try! Very crispy and fragrant, i was pleasantly surprised.

3. Oyster Omelette - eggs are well fried and very fluffy, oysters are also pretty generous so i'll recommend this too!

4. Kang Kong - must try! Sambal is of a good kick, goes really well with the vege.

5. Nai Bai - nah it's alright.

6. Cereal Prawn - must try! Prawns are well friend and the cereal servings are very generous!

7. Signature Tofu - must try! Mixed with seafood, taste a little like paste but i love how it blends with the friend part of it. Very fragrant

8. Har Cheong Gai - must try! Very fragrant and crispy, every bite is better than KFC 100%

I love that at places like this, the soup is refillable so you can keep going for rounds for free! It goes well with rice so your meal isn't that "dry" if you get what i mean. This hearty soup along with the sides are going to keep your tummy very happy, you really can't go wrong with zichar!

Overall, location may seem a little unusual, that's why it's kind of like a hidden gem! But it's pretty worth if you're in the area OR you're looking for some family spots to dine at.
