Trying the ✨viral ✨Clinique Black Honey lippie

I am definitely late to this trend, but here I am testing out the viral Clinique Black Honey lipstick that everyone has been raving about for ages!

I’ve always been more of a lip tint or balm kind of person, I don’t like how most matte lipsticks feel on my lips, since I have relatively dry lips. They don’t chap as much anymore but they’re definitely not the juicy, supple lips that most tiktok gworls have these days.

Over the years I have noticed my lips darkening which have definitely influenced my choice of lip products. Of late, I find myself veering towards very moisturizing balm types.

My favourites are the Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tinted Balm, which I have a few of. Unfortunately, because I’m a slob, most of them have been left in my bag / in the sun and have become somewhat melty and weird. Oops.

I’ve heard many good things about Black Honey so of course I was excited to give it a try. And even more so when the Clinique team reached out to me to send over the lipstick in a limited edition holiday packaging.

👍Why I like it:

I love how nourishing and moisturising it feels on the lips and the healthy tint it lends to my lips. I find it a little darker than the usual tints / balms that I use so this would work better on the days that I have more “toned down” makeup. Other than that - totally loving the formula and especially the beautiful packaging!
