tiktok viral black honey lipbalm?

we definitely have all heard about the highly raved clique black honey lip balm from tiktok! well if you haven’t, just read on to find out what’s the hype about this lip balm :p been on the hunt for this for more than a year, could not find this anywhere in singapore. just found it in london and also found out that they do have it on the sephora singapore website now!

Product: Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey

Price: I purchased it from Boots in London so i paid 21 pounds (about 33 SGD). it retails for 37 SGD on the Sephora SG website – definitely cheaper if you purchase it in UK/EU (go get it now if u’re overseas!!!)

What i love about it:

✧ super moisturising

✧ gives off a very natural berry tint on my lips which i love!!! i am always so drawn to berry tints

✧ the unique black honey shade is meant to look different on everyone, depending on your lip colour

✧ can be layered with other lip products – what i do is i begin my makeup routine with this lip balm to moisturise my lips and prep it before using another lip product at the end of my routine. it sets a really nice hydrated base and blends in really well with any lip product

✧ sheer coverage with a soft gloss finish

one thing that lowkeyyy irks me is how plain the packaging is. however it is very on brand for clinique as its meant to be ‘clinical’ 🫥 on the flip side i do find it to be very sleek and minimalist so ig its ok

a 10/10 for me! my lips tend to get really dry and cracked in cold countries and this 100% saved my lips. as we’re in the midst of the holiday season, this really is the best time to purchase this and try it out for urselves 😇
