Never thought that I’d be going to the gym regularly… BUT I AM. 😨

I started going to my school’s gym in Feb, and I started out really clueless. So here’s some workouts and tips that helped me get started!

𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒

𝟏. 𝐒𝐡𝐲 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐔𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭 — @𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐢𝐭

- Shoulder press 4x10

- Tricep extensions 4x10

- Back flys 4×10

- Hammer curls 4×12

- Push-ups AMRAP

𝟐. 𝐒𝐡𝐲 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐆𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭 — @𝐣𝐣.𝐟𝐢𝐢𝐭

- Goblet squat 4×10

- RDL 4×10

- Single leg glute bridge 4×10 per leg

- Sumosquat into sumo RDL 4x8

- Split squats 4×10

✨ 𝐆𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬

It’s the “if you go, then I’ll go” mentality… it works. HAHAH. And on lazy days, it’ll be your friend who’ll still drag you to the gym and vice versa!

When you’ve fixed certain days and timings to go, it makes it easier to form a habit.

Let’s face it. Not many of us are really willing to travel THAT far to gym, especially if you’re just starting out. It really helps to find something near you, or if you condo has a gym, even better. This eliminates the excuse of “it’s too far” and “it takes too much time”.
