Fun Korean Convenience Store in JB (CU)! 🍙☕️🌭

I’m a big fan of Korean food and I’ve always loved their convenience stores 🫶 Sadly, while emart24 has opened in sg, we still do not have any CU mart outlets. 😭 So, during my trip to JB earlier this month, I knew I had to check out at least one of their stores!

My friends and I decided to visit the mid valley outlet and GUYS, they have a big collection of delaffe coffee packets and drinks retailing for RM4.50 each (seriously comparable to the ones available in Seoul). Check out my thoughts on JB’s CU mart below ⬇️

🌭What we ordered🌭

- hazelnut americano

- peach tea

- tteokbokki

- cheesy corn sausage (corn dog)

- honey butter fried chicken (dak gang jeong)

- onigiri

(All of this added up to around RM40 only!)

📝My review📝

omg this was so worth the visit! I loved the fried chicken and tteokbokki so much — it had just the right amount of spice and chewiness for the tteok. For those who like corn dogs, I recommend trying out the cheesy corn sausage! It was a TREAT.

As for the drinks, I wasn’t a big fan of the hazelnut coffee packet. I think it’s too sweet for me, and I prefer the black americano without sugar. Same goes for the peach tea as most of these packet drinks are on the sweeter side!☕️
