Aesthetic KOREAN cafe in JB! ☕️🌸🍰

Hey Zesties! If you’ve seen my previous post, you’d know that I was in JB recently with my friends and we did some cafe-hopping during our day trip.

On our way to Midvalley Southkey for some shopping, we decided to visit this Korean-inspired cafe that we found on XHS for some afternoon tea and treats.

Located at the corner of a row of shophouses in Taman Pelangi, Yeon Cafe exuded Korean-inspired aesthetics from the moment we saw it.

We were greeted by a beautiful pebble-paved garden with a canopy and lots of potted plants. Needless to say, my friends and I spent some time taking photos at the benches outside!🪴

Upon entering the cafe, the interior gave off major cottagecore vibes with a blend of traditional elements such as rattan chairs and rugs and modern elements including cushions and sofas, creating a homely and cozy atmosphere. 🏠

As we scrolled through the menu, we found that the cafe offers a range of bespoke sweets, baked goods and Korean food and is HALAL-certified.

🍋 Yuzu Jasmine Green Tea (RM 14)

As self-proclaimed “yuzu gurls”, we couldn’t resist trying the Yuzu Jasmine Green Tea and it definitely did not disappoint! It was super refreshing and perfect for the hot afternoon.

🍰 Burnt Basque Cheesecake (less than RM 20)

I can’t remember the exact price for this, but it was so so good as well! The cheesecake had the perfect balance of cheesiness and creaminess, and had the right level of “burnt”. It was also not too jelat!

Overall, if you’re looking for a cozy spot to spend an afternoon tea break in JB, I highly recommend Yeon Cafe!! While it’s not located in a bustling area, it’s worth making the trip to enjoy the warm ambience, good food and take lots of insta-worthy photos. 💗📸
