Un-gatekeeping this baking studio 💫👩🏻‍🍳

Hey Lemon8! ☺️ Last month, I went to Home Baking Studio for my anniversary date and I had so much fun, I knew I needed to share my experience with you guys 😛

Located at L4 in City Square Mall (Singapore one ok, not the JB one), Home Baking Studio is a cozy self-baking studio. You get to choose from a wide variety of menu items with varying levels of difficulty (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and basically self-direct your next 2-2.5 hrs there with the help of trusty instructions on a tablet! 🍰

I made a pre-booking online but found it wasn’t really needed as the space was rather empty on a Sunday afternoon, just a couple of families with their children. We chose the Dark chocolate cake with rose houjicha cream ar the counter, and most payment methods are accepted!

The staff gave us a tablet and walked us through the area. We could immediately get started and collected the necessary tools needed at each step of the process. 👩🏻‍🍳 As someone who has been to ABC Cooking Studio before, the experience here is much more self-initiated; you take the ingredients yourself here and there isn’t an instructor guiding you every step of the way. But the staff are very helpful and pro-active, they are able to assist you if you need any help! 😅

There’s also free drinks (Nespresso, tea, milo) for you to take while waiting for your cakes to be baked, very thoughtful of them! 🤍

Highly recommend this baking studio if you are looking for something fun to do!
