🥧🍫 BAKING CLASS THAT IS EASIER THAN ABC🧁🍰

baking was never our forte, but at this baking class, we SLAYYEDD IT SO HARD✨❤️ i can safely say that it is as easy ABC (that explains the name of the store)🤔

ABC Cooking Studio was first launched in Singapore in 2015❤️ it is a course based cooking class where you can choose from baking to even cooking courses (CAKE, COOKING, BREAD, WAGASHI AND KIDS)!! but you might be thinking, what if i’m already a pro at baking but just want to experience it?? well, don’t worry, ABC Cooking Studio offers with varying difficulty level🍰 and if you’re a beginner like me, you can always start from the beginners course to sharpen your skills before moving on to the master courses👍🏻✨

one thing i like about this cooking studio is that it provides you trial lesson, where you are able

to try out a class and see if the teaching style and environment is suitable for you, which was what we opted for during our visit😁 it is only $35/pax the trial lesson, and it gives you 3 different dishes to choose to make, and we went for their Gateau au Chocolat, essentially, a chocolate cake🍫🧁

so here is how it went⭐️:

1. ENTRANCE

we were first greeted by the staff, and was asked if we needed to rent an apron ($1)!! fun fact: you can also bring your own apron to avoid paying for you😉 next, they escorted us into the studio, giving us a little tour on where to wash out hands before class starts, and also the lockers to place our bags❤️ after which, they told us the table that we will be baking at and asked us to go there once we are ready✨REMINDER: DO NOT BE LATE FOR CLASS (10 MINS GRACE TIME), THERE WILL BE NO REFUND❌

2. START OF BAKING CLASS

we were then greeted by another staff that will be our instructor for the day!! she was super

patient and friendly to us😍 we were also partnered with another couple as there are 4 slots on the table!! this is great as it isn’t too big of a group that it become hard to get the attention that you need from the instructor✨ the couple we were with were also super friendly and funny, we had so much fun baking with them👍🏻

3. DURING THE BAKING CLASS

we were given a piece of instruction paper (picture 2), that shows the steps that we need to follow!! the instructor then instructed us to start incorporating the ingredients✨ what really stood out to me from this class is that the instructors do not do it for you, YOU DO IT ON YOUR OWN!! she would standby to help out if you need but they make sure that 90% of the time, you are the one doing all the work, which makes this class value for money💵

the class was super simple as the instructor did it step by step and made sure that everyone was ready before moving on to the next part of the class👍🏻✨

4. AFTER CLASS

our cake had to bake for 40mins, so we had a lot of time on our hands to rest and walk around the studio!! our instructor brought us around and showed us what other students were making and explaining which courses they are😍 we were also brought tithe resting area in the store, where we can get FREE DRINKS (HOT TEA OR SOFT DRINKS), and also tables to rest❤️

while walking around the studio, we found a FOOD BAR (picture 9), where you are able to buy the ingredients used in the classes!! perfect for those who wants to bake the same item at home👍🏻

the studio was really big, and CLEAN!! it is also

well organised, making the environment so

much more comfortable to bake in❣️

so after the cakes were done, we could bring them

to the photobooth at the resting area to take cute photos of our finish product!! they also provide a box to keep the cakes!! if you need a paper bag, you may go to the counter to ask for it (50 cents/bag)🌱

Overall, a great experience, and would definitely go back to bake, and maybe even take up some cooking lessons😉
