simple trick to accurately measure my spreads~ 🤩🥣

toasts are one of my staples for breakfast or a snack between the day. now that i’m trying to be on a calorie deficit while meeting my protein goal, tracking spreads become an important step in my regular toast routine~

before learning this simple technique, i used to either eyeball my spread, or struggle a lot with accuracy due to the methods i’ve used. one method was to measure according to tablespoon/teaspoon. it works, but it’s not always accurate as it’s hard to determine flat/heap and so on. as such, i could be using too much which contributes to my inability to stay within my calorie deficit, or using too little leading to insufficient protein consumed. 😰😰

learning this technique changed the game for me completely, as it made weighing spreads easier! no additional washing required, and much more accurate than before. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
