To keep me on track with my goals, I created some non-negotiable rules for myself to keep DAILY!
1. Get 10k steps a day. 10k steps a day keep the doctor away😉 But seriously! Getting 10,000 steps in every day helps keep you healthy, moving, and burning more calories to keep you at maintenance or in a calorie deficit. It makes all the difference!
2. Work out 3-5x a week is a NEED & a WANT! Minimum 3 days of weight lifting every week will help you work towards your goals & keep you mentally sane. Weight lifting allows you to burn calories even after your workout + helps you build muscle - so you burn more calories at rest.
3. Hitting my protein goal every day is what I focus on to make sure I’m building muscle, burning fat, and keeping myself fuller throughout the day!
