The ultimate question 🙌 If you’re in a calorie deficit and STILL not losing weight, here are some common mistakes (most of which i made as well!) for you to consider:

1. You may be counting calories but forgetting that liquid calories, oils/dressings, and picking on food throughout the day ALSO COUNT! (lol im so guilty of picking on food specifically anything chocolate🤌🏼)

2. There’s a chance you have lost weight but are just holding extra water (which is temporary)🙌 This can be due to a high sodium intake, hormones, stress, dehydration etc. To prevent this, you can reduce your salt intake and make sure you’re staying hydrated! 💦

3. You’ve been in a calorie deficit for too long! Because of this, you’ve hit a weight loss plateu, your metabolism has starting to slow down and you’re burning fewer calories. This has actually happened to me before so i know how frustrating it can be! If this is your case, it’s a great idea to try reverse dieting and incorporating more strength training into your routine to add muscle 💪🏼
