A strong core = a strong body. Your core is at the center of everything you do; helps you lift more, allows for proper form with exercises and of course helps you stay balanced / stable throughout workouts and your daily life.

As a personal trainer, most girls come to me wanting to have “abs” but I guide them to start thinking of wanting a stronger core instead (which usually results in having visible abs long-term) because as I said before it helps with EVERYTHING you do! 👏🏼

💚 Workout - 6 minutes

-Straight Leg Sit Ups

-Ab Jacks

-Weighted Circles

Perform each movement for 40 seconds X 20 seconds rest = 2 times

➡️ I only recommend performing 1-2 ab circuits like this per week, so skip doing 100 sit-ups every day. If you want to build a strong core you need to learn how to engage it properly throughout workouts / daily activities. And hint hint, to engage properly pretend that someone is going to hit you in the stomach and you are bracing for it with your abdominal muscles (don’t “suck it in” as some think).
