One of the dish I made frequently in the beginning of my meal prep journey is actually cabbage meat roll. It's a super well balanced meal especially when you go along with rice.
INGREDIENTS
12-14 leaves of cabbage
150g minced meat
4 shitake mushroom - to bring our the flavour
Sesame oil
Salt, Pepper
STEPS
1. Boil cabbage in a pot with water (to soften the cabbage leaves - easy peeling)
2. In the meanwhile, mix minced meat, mushroom, Sesame oil, Salt & Pepper together
3. Once cabbage leaves soften, peel it and cut it's core
4. Wrap meat mixture in the cabbage and roll it up
5. Steam for 10-15 mins (it should be thoroughly cooked)
(Optional: I like to put other sauces and drizzle on the cabbage halfway into steaming)
6. Done!
With that, you can pair together with rice, it definitely make a comfort meal!
