When you are visiting UYB, it is preferred to make a reservation before you come as the queue is extremely long especially for dinner.

Entered the restaurant and we were given a table in a traditional way. Had to take off our shoes and sat on benches that you would find when you visit Korea.

The staff were really friendly as they helped us to cook and taught us the different accompaniments that suit to the meats you have ordered.

This is not your usual Korean restaurant where they have small-portioned side dishes. However, they have other side dishes in their menu that are suitable for sharing!

What we tried!

• Tongmoksal Jumeokgogi (Pork Collar) $28

• Ohgyeopsal (Pork Belly with Skin) $27

• Mul-Makguksu (Buckwheat Noodle with Cold Beef Soup / Naengmyeon) $16

• Ohsorigamtoo Sooyuk (Boiled Pork Maw) $13

The meats offered were really tender yet juicy, bbq-ed till perfection. The naengmyeon we ordered was super refreshing and light, drinking the broth just clears the oiliness and cools your body. Perfect for hot seasons 🔥!

Will definitely visit them again but this time, would love to try their lunch menu as they serve pork and rice soup or also known as ‘Dwaeji Gukbap’.
